I've now been here a fair few times after meaning to for ages. Always a lovely atmosphere and very kind service. Coffees and cakes are always lovely and taste very fresh. There is limited data service and no Wi-Fi, but on the plus side this does encourage lots of convo and the beautiful surroundings are far nicer than anything on your phone.

Hidden gem! Lovely lunches and cakes in a pretty cafe with the bonus of a pretty garden area. Lunches from 11.30 include salads with gluten free and dairy free options. Staff were really helpful accommodating the baby too! Dogs can go into the garden area and there is parking off the road too.

Wanted to sample a traditional ‘Cornish Tea’ while visiting Cornwall, and we are very glad we selected this cosy little place for our first one of the holidays. The cream tea was outstanding. The scones were delicious, and the jam and cream (in that order obviously) topped it off! The tea pot was huge, as was the kid sized hot chocolate! Service was friendly and welcoming, even when busy with the steady stream of customers. On a wet weekday, outside of the peak holiday season, the restaurant was busy over the lunch period, so I’d suggest making a booking if possible. Hopefully we can squeeze in another visit before we head home!
